Macca - One Glove Show - 10.05.20

“I’ve been having to do my shows from my living room which isn’t ideal but it does add a certain atmosphere when going live. I think the thing I’m missing most right now is being in the NTS studio in Dalston to be honest. But we persevere... This months show has defo got a Dub & Lover’s vibe to it. Some obscure 45’s & LP’s mixed in with some classic 80’s b-sides, a banging scouse project (out to Moon) and a nod to 25 years of Mobb Deep’s “The Infamous”.  The show is dedicated to the memory of our mate, Ben Raemers. I’ll never forget driving a crew of the lads up from London to Liverpool in a splitter van...

#viewsfromyourcouch - Anti Hero's Cash Money Vagrant

Classic Cards ad. Kindly scanned up by The Chrome Ball Incident. What to say about this one? Every Anti Hero video is raw as fuck and this is no exception. I'd always worry that the tape would get chewed up just from the amount of times i'd put it on in the shop. Too many highlights to list so you'll have to just watch it below. Also put Bonus Footage below it because I don't think people talk about that one enough. Plus it contains footage of Tony Trujillo nollie flipping MACBA four wearing a dress he allegedly found in a bin. Probably behind that ZARA.

#viewsfromyourcouch - Dan Wolfe

Dan follow films Huf and Reece Forbes as seen in Closure. Presumably shot by Gabe Morford. Scan from the always rad Chrome Ball Incident once again. Dan Wolfe has been responsible for numerous instant classics over the years. He's very kindly been uploading a few of them onto his own Vimeo channel so you can finally see that Ipath 2005 Summer preview (instant classic indeed) in non pixelated quality. Unless you're lucky enough to possess a DVD copy of course. Eastern Exposure Zero speaks for itself and we'd also highly recommend you check out Closure which tells Dan's story from his humble small town beginnings to documenting some of most influential skating ever. Check out this triple bill of radness...

#viewsfromyourcouch - Forties 'Amigos'

Scan borrowed from The Chrome Ball Incident. Check out more classic Forties ads through this link HERE Since the shop couch is currently out of action, you'll have to watch the classics from yours instead. We'll be linking up some of the tapes we had on heavy rotation pre-lockdown right here for your viewing pleasure. First up is the 1994(?) SF Bay Area based Amigos from Deluxe's sadly short lived clothing company Forties. Was hyped to see the DLX lads had uploaded this one in full quality, amazing lineup, it's perfect pre-cruise viewing. Keep your distance from others of course if you must roll after this one (which you will).
