It's long time Lost Art family member, Tom Tanner's birthday today. Revisit Tom's fucking sick National part below (after the boy D-Lynn's part) and then feast your eyes on some styley as ever photos from the last couple of years. Love you mate, hope it's a good one! During our week of isolation we have been reflecting on previous projects and every time this one pops up for me! A week to film a video, in September, with the dopest crew around! The weather was shite as expected but we managed to pull it off and even ended up winning the competition. Anyway enough waffling check the 2015 effort below featuring baby versions of Charlie Birch, Andrew 'EVZ' Evans, Rauiri Jones, Will Kynaston, Joe McCombe, Luke Fletcher, Ryan Rebotis, Russ 'Weasle' Longmire, Joeseph 'Geff' McGuffog, Ash Wilson, Dave Mackey and Josh Devine! Filmed and edited by Oliver Birch (thats me)
Charlie Lowe is back again this week on his lonesome on behalf of Lost Art Soundsytem! "Good afternoon all, hope everyone’s staying safe and enjoying the weather. Mad isn’t it, as soon as we can’t leave the house, it goes lovely out. Anyway, back again to provide you with some more music/another mix to brighten your day. This time it’s a solo mix by myself, some sounds to be enjoyed in the sunshine, guaranteed to pick you up from all this COVID-19 madness. So open your windows, crack open one of those rationed cans of ale in the fridge and get the tunes blaring. Not much more else to say really" - Lost Art Soundsystem
The best video of 2019 (by a fucking mile) is finally available online for your viewing pleasure. If you were present for our premiere last year, no doubt you've been hyped to re-watch. Lost Art family member, Matlok Bennett-Jones, smashes it of course (frontside heelflip!), as do all of these boys. Unfortunately, it's guaranteed make you want to go skating in these times of lockdown, so you'll have to settle for stationary kickflips in your front room for now. Grass to grass leap. Photo: Reece Leung Our recent state of social distance and self isolation has caused me to go waaay back through some of our old videos. Somehow I completely forgot how fucking sick this 2012 Vaughan "MF" Jones (VMFV for those in the know) part is. Sad to see a bunch of spots that are no longer with us and rad to see the ones that still are. Watch him smash the lot of the them with typical VJ precision below. Then go and wash your hands.
